We are staring at a crisis

Titled the myopia capital, the prevalence in Singapore is alarmingly high level and the projected rise will impact the society at a frightening scale.

Myopia has become a norm in Singapore society and a part of growing up. And as everyone thinks they know it so well, they reach for standard, but dated solutions.

We need to help them unlearn all the misconceptions about managing myopia.
And shift the conversation from vision correction to slowing down myopia progression.

Creating the land of mythopia

INFLUENCER ACTIVATION

To kickstart the exhibition, selected influencers and KOL’s get media packs with tickets to the land of Mythopia, together with a small mascot of a funny, mysterious creature.

Influencers will then share their stories of escaping Mythopia and the advantages of reducing the progression of myopia with Stellest lenses over just vision correction.

We will also use the exhibition to create a content series featuring a child with myopia and an optometrist. Featured on our social channels, the content will show them team up to bust myths and misconceptions about myopia while introducing the advantages of Stellest lenses.

The exhibition can travel across schools in Singapore as a kid-friendly escape room. After they learn more about myopia and Stellest lenses, we could invite for a complimentary check-up at an Essilor affiliated optometrist, and also offer incentives on our lenses.

VIRTUAL MYTHOPIA EXPERIENCE

We create the land of Mythopia online, allowing parents and kids to learn more of myopia and the advantages of Stellest lenses from the comfort of their homes.

Kids Book

It tells the story of a little girl followed by a creature from Mythopia called Opia.

MY OPIA APP

The App allows parents and kids to track myopia progression.

It could be synced with the existing Plano app or exist on its own. Like in a Tamagotchi, they can log their activities, follow tips and exercises to manage their own virtual Opia.

Depending on the data, the Opia can become more nice or mean looking. The goal - to keep her tamed and her progression under control. The app also educates about advantages of Stellest lenses, sends reminders for check-ups, produces alerts and introduces product incentives.
